Partner, CEO
As Founder and CEO of HH Architecture, Kristen believes strongly that great design and outstanding service should be the guiding principles behind every project. She fosters a project team with relentless energy for the ultimate end-result: delighted clients and buildings they love.
Kristen feels that each design should be authentic to the unique client—rooted in the physical place, specific to their needs, and reflective of their community and mission by connecting their stories and history to the built work. Through this process, she designs spaces that honor and celebrate the past while advancing and helping grow the communities they serve. Her passion for sustainable and client-focused design is a driving force in HH Architecture’s continued growth and success.
With a career focused on designing to serve, Kristen is an ambassador of architecture across global forums, elevating professionals as leaders in policy, business, and design. She is the first architect to receive the Marshall Memorial Fellowship and one of only two to ever receive the Zhi-Xing China Eisenhower Fellowship. She is a Founding Organizer and the sole architect in the Sardinia Dialogues, a grassroots effort that brings together global leaders to explore new ways to leverage environmental, social, and governance standards in business. Locally, Kristen is committed to providing opportunities for her employees, design students, and future community leaders.
