Fayetteville Technical Community College’s development of a satellite campus responded to the need to expand and consolidate its health technology and continuing education programs at the time. As part of the master plan, we created a realistic phased development plan to allow the college to prioritize the construction of future buildings.
The campus is to be used as model for sustainable campus development with the goal of LEED Gold certification for all buildings on the campus. Our master plan document places particular emphasis on energy efficiency, energy production, and water re‑use and conservation. Our team investigated innovative options to create a community that demonstrates the benefits of sustainable design.
