NC Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services 2021 Wellness, Civic Service, Corporate Interiors Raleigh, NC 220,000 square feet Back to Projects

Our team completed the design of the Steve Troxler Agricultural Sciences for the North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) consisting of approximately 220,000 square feet of new laboratory and office space for the Veterinary, Food and Drug Protection, Structural Pest Control and Pesticides, Motor Fuels, and Standards Divisions.

Our consultant team included HERA Laboratory Planners for Laboratory Planning and Design, Integrated Design for Laboratory Architecture, Stewart for Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Structural Engineering, and Salas O’Brien (formerly Stanford White) for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering and Fire Protection. MBP provided cost consulting throughout the project.

The laboratories and programs within the Center provide a wide range of services and diagnostic tests that play a critical role in protecting the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of North Carolina. This state-of-the-art facility includes modern equipment, optimizes workflow, and allows for future program growth and needs.
