Overview
HH Architecture worked closely with Johnston Community College, faculty, staff, students, Johnston County businesses, and community leaders to ensure this master plan will provide guidance for responsible campus growth for years to come.
Our team began this master plan with a GAP analysis and county demographic study to determine how well the College’s program offerings and location meet the regional labor market, focus groups, and interviews to gather information, and assessments of the Art, Old Wilson, and Tart Auditorium Buildings.
This crucial data was incorporated into this Master Plan, along with our team’s inventory and analysis of the campus infrastructure, circulation, and aesthetics as well as evaluation of properties that could be purchased for campus expansion. We developed conceptual plans to illustrate future building placement, campus circulation and infrastructure, and campuswide landscaping and amenities.
