We encourage a firm-wide design culture where everyone can get involved in the design process through design charrettes and mentorship. We frequently come together to share projects and have thoughtful discussion around design.
Every career requires lifelong learning. We support employees with continuing education programs and professional certification testing reimbursement. We also encourage employees to join local community groups and organizations to greater their professional reach.
Giving back to the community is one of our core values. In addition to volunteering as a company, we offer our employees up to 40 hours paid leave to volunteer their time at a charity of their choice.
We believe that a work/life balance is essential to the success of any employee. Our office is open Monday through Thursday from 8am until 6pm and Fridays from 8am until 12pm, year-round.
For every project, HH Architecture aims to work with diverse teams in order to build healthier, more productive environments. We also strive to be a safe, supportive, and anti-racist workplace. In 2020, the Committee for Racial Justice in the Workplace (CRJW) was formed by employees at HH Architecture. We know that enacting lasting change will require a sustained effort and we are committed to taking a stand against racial injustice.
HH Architecture hosts numerous social events throughout the year, including an annual family friendly summer social, bi-monthly happy hours, trips to community dog parks with our Barkitects, and an annual company holiday party. We also recognize the amazing work our employees do by providing tickets to local sporting events, the NC Zoo and NC State Fair.
